In determining which pattern to download for use, take time to carefully read it through online. If it isn't truly easy to understand, bypass it. Try to use the same yarns recommended in the easy and free knitting patterns. However, if you have a stash of yarn for which you're intent on finding that perfect pattern, then grab the label and check the yarn weight. Comparing yarn weights will help you determine a suitable pattern for your needs.
