THE POINT HAT
SIZE TO FIT SMALL ADULT MED ADULT FINISHED MEASUREME NT: 21" 23" YARN REQUIREMENTS: Hempwol 50gr 1 2 HEMP6 -50 GR 1 2 NEEDLES: 5.0MM (7US) 24" circ needle and set of double pointed needles (dpn) GAUGE: Approx 3 3/4 sts to 1" THE POINT NOTE: HAT IS KNIT WITH 1 STRAND OF EACH YARN HELD TOGETHER THROUGHOUT. INSTRUCTIONS Using circ needle CO 76(80) sts. Join being careful not to twist sts. All rnds: Knit. Continue knitting until work measures 5 ½ (6) from beg. CROWN SHAPING: Rnd 1: *K1, ssk, k13 (14), k2tog, k1; rep to end of rnd - 68(72) sts. Rnd 2 and every other rnd: Knit Repeat Rnds 1 & 2, knitting 2 less stitches every subsequent round on Rnd 1. i.e. next Rnd 1: k11 (12) sts, K2 tog. Continue until 44 (48) sts remain. Change to dpns when necessary. Next: Dec every rnd until 16 sts remain. Knit 4 rounds without shaping. POINT: Next: K2 tog, rep to end - 8 sts. Knit 3 rnds.
